Unmanned aerial vehicles and the latest drone techniques are used in many areas. First and foremost, in construction and architecture, real estate, mining, agriculture, forestry, geodesy and power engineering. In her opening speech Bożena Staniak, Vice-President of Targi Kielce Management Board, spoke about the industry's development:

- Many industries use unmanned aerial vehicles. UAV's are also a vital part of the events organised at Targi Kielce. They are present at the International Defence Industry Exhibition and at the POLSECURE Police Expo, which features technological solutions for uniformed services are presented. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles were also in the limelight at the conference accompanying this year's September AVIATION Expo and the IDEa Show organised at the Targi Kielce Congress Centre.

Jacek Semaniak PhD. Hab, president of the Central Office of Measure presented the institute's research and development activities.

The Speakers' list also includes representatives of the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency, the Polish Chamber of Unmanned Systems, academic centres, including the Warsaw University of Technology and the AGH University of Science and Technology, and representatives of companies specialising in cutting-edge drone technologies.

The exhibition complemented the International Drone Event – World of Measurements conference at the Targi Kielce Congress Centre. The leading companies from the industry present their products and services, the list includes Laser-3D.pl, TPI LLC, NaviGate, or Geotronics Dystribution. The Marshal's Office of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship's expo stand offers free consultations. This is the place to learn about European Funds and subsidies for modern technologies and technological solutions.
